Advice after a late miscarriage

Advice after a late miscarriage: Professor Akim Bouterra's guidance, complemented by what the research says (pregnancy), the precautions to know, and our resources to go further.

After a late miscarriage, various natural products will help cleanse the uterus.

First, there are herbal teas made from chamomile, oregano, ginger, and raspberry leaves.

Next, raspberry and blackberry juices, as well as vegetable soups such as carrot soup.

Black seed and spirulina will also help cleanse the uterus.

The natural treatment should last between ten and fifteen days.

Afterward, if the woman wishes to conceive again, it will be important to try to identify the cause of the previous miscarriage and establish a possible natural treatment.

What the science says: pregnancy

What published research says about the remedies mentioned above, for context — the studies address material causes, while healing belongs to Allah.

Pregnancy

Ginger is the go-to natural remedy for pregnancy nausea (J Matern Fetal Neonatal Med, 2022) (J Am Board Fam Med, 2014); dates eaten in late pregnancy ease labor (Explore, 2021); iron and folic acid levels are monitored (Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand, 2023). Precaution: many plants are not recommended during pregnancy (essential oils, hormonal plants, laxative plants, fenugreek) — do not take any supplement without the advice of a midwife or doctor.
