Camel milk is excellent for health and contains powerful components. However, it is best to drink it only once a week.
Indeed, our Prophet ﷺ was accustomed to living simply, with plants and the milk of his land; whereas nowadays it is rare to find a person far from industrial products and accustomed to what is natural. In that case, drinking camel milk daily could have adverse effects on one's digestion.
Furthermore, camel milk powder is now available, which can be taken as a course with a precise dosage and duration.
What the science says: camel milk
What published research says about the remedies mentioned above, for context — these studies concern material causes, while healing belongs to Allah.
Camel milk
Camel milk, a remedy mentioned in the hadiths, has been studied in particular for diabetes: it improves blood sugar levels and reduces insulin needs according to meta-analyses (Asian Pac J Trop Biomed, 2013). Its composition (low allergenic casein, insulin-like proteins, lactoferrin) explains its value. Precaution: favor pasteurized milk or a controlled powder; raw milk carries an infectious risk.
