Despite dental crowns, teeth can still be prone to infections.

To remedy this, it is recommended to start with a three-month course of maitake, taking three capsules a day.

Next, propolis will be very beneficial, and can be found in spray, gum, or capsule form.

There are also mouth sprays and creams made with siwak, mint, and clove to cleanse the mouth and fight bad breath.

What published research says about the remedies mentioned above, for context only — these studies address material causes, but healing belongs to Allah.

Mouth and teeth

Siwak reduces plaque and gum inflammation (Saudi Med J, 2015) (J Ethnopharmacol, 2022); propolis is being studied for oral health (J Funct Biomater, 2024), and honey for mouth sores. Salt water rinses, clove for toothache, less sugar: the basics. Precaution: a cavity, an abscess, or a gum that bleeds persistently should be treated by a dentist — natural remedies provide relief in the meantime, they do not repair the problem.
