To treat vaginal yeast infections, we recommend applying clove and camelina oils, making sure to always mix them with a fatty carrier such as argan, lavender, or chamomile cream. Indeed, applied directly to the skin, these oils could irritate this particularly sensitive area.

Local treatments for warts (salicylic acid, cryotherapy) were evaluated in a Cochrane review (JMIR Dermatol, 2021); on the natural side, tea tree essential oil, garlic, propolis, and vinegar are used for their antimicrobial properties (Antioxidants, 2023) (Arch Dermatol Res, 2023). Precaution: dilute essential oils; a nail fungal infection or scalp ringworm often requires prolonged medical treatment; do not scratch or pop them.
