To treat the problem of tachycardia, talbina will be very beneficial. Mountain honey and raisins can be added to it. At the same time, the child should be given linden flower, either as an herbal tea or as a syrup combined with hawthorn, at a rate of one small teaspoon in the evening. Be careful, however, to make sure of the quality of the linden flower. Also in the evening, give the child passionflower syrup with lemon balm to drink.
In addition, fruits such as oranges or lemons should be favored for their vitamin content, as should vegetables like beets in juice form or carrots in soup.
Furthermore, a teaspoon of black seed oil in the morning will be beneficial for the child.
What the science says: in children, linden, valerian, and calming herbs
What the published research says about the remedies mentioned above, for context only — the studies address material causes, while healing belongs to Allah.
In children
In infants, the probiotic Lactobacillus reuteri reduces colic-related crying according to a meta-analysis (Pediatrics, 2018) (Acta Paediatr, 2024); in children, honey calms nighttime coughing (after one year of age) (Cochrane, 2018), fiber and hydration treat constipation (J Pediatr, 2022), and omega-3s are being studied for hyperactivity (Neuropsychopharmacology, 2018). Precaution: never give honey before one year of age, no essential oils before age 3 (age 6 for peppermint), doses adjusted to weight; any fever in an infant under 3 months is an emergency.
Linden, valerian, and calming herbs
Valerian improves sleep quality according to several meta-analyses (Am J Med, 2006) (J Evid Based Integr Med, 2020); linden contains anxiolytic flavonoids (J Ethnopharmacol, 2008), and a network review compares herbs against anxiety (passionflower, lemon balm, lavender…) (Pharmacol Res, 2022). Precaution: do not combine valerian, passionflower, or hops with sleeping pills or anxiolytics without medical advice; avoid before driving; use for courses of a few weeks rather than continuously.
