Breast fibroids are generally accompanied by a hormonal imbalance. First and foremost, a detox should be done, notably with chasteberry, combined with evening primrose and burdock. Chasteberry should be taken in the morning, and the other two plants in the afternoon. The detox is very important, since cleansing the liver can bring about many improvements in the body, particularly in hormonal balance and inflammation. Milk thistle will also be effective for detoxifying the liver.
Externally, aloe vera can be used, either as a cream or in its natural form taken directly from the plant. You can blend an aloe vera leaf with 100 ml of honey and apply it as a poultice, and it is possible to add propolis or red clover to it.
In the past, castor oil was used, so a few drops of this oil can be added to the poultice.
The goal is to improve blood circulation in the breast area. To do this, placing a cloth soaked in castor oil on the area in the evening, along with a hot water bottle for 15 to 20 minutes, will also be effective.
Sage herbal teas are allies too; two to three cups a day should be drunk.
In case of fatigue, a course of an adaptogen such as ginseng, or a Chinese mushroom such as reishi, is recommended.
What the science says: liver, medicinal plants, detox and drainage
Here is what published research says about the remedies mentioned above, for context — these studies address material causes, while healing belongs to Allah.
The liver
Milk thistle's silymarin improves liver markers in fatty liver disease and various liver conditions according to meta-analyses (Ann Hepatol, 2024) (World J Gastroenterol, 2017); the Mediterranean diet (olive oil, vegetables, fish) reduces liver fat (Clin Nutr, 2022). Artichoke, black radish, rosemary and dandelion are the traditional drainage plants; fasting gives the liver a rest. Precaution: viral hepatitis or cirrhosis should be followed with a specialist; some plants are hepatotoxic (comfrey, celandine, kava) — do not improvise.
Medicinal plants: using them properly
Moringa, for example, has shown an effect on blood sugar according to a meta-analysis (Molecules, 2021) and its safety has been reviewed (Phytother Res, 2015); more generally, plants act — and therefore interact: the review of plants against anxiety (Pharmacol Res, 2022) or against painful periods (J Int Med Res, 2020) makes this clear. Precaution: respect the dosages, avoid combining many plants, check compatibility with your medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding; buy quality plants from a controlled source.
Detox and drainage
The body "detoxifies" itself through the liver, kidneys, intestine, skin and lungs: supporting them comes down to fiber (Am J Clin Nutr, 2022), hydration, fasting (BMJ, 2025), liver plants such as milk thistle (World J Gastroenterol, 2017) and physical activity. Aggressive "cleanses" have no proven benefit and carry risks (Am J Gastroenterol, 2009). Precaution: no purges or enemas without medical advice, and no detox course during pregnancy; heavy-metal "chelators" should only be used on prescription.
