Remedies for cracked and chapped fingers

Remedies for cracked and chapped fingers: the advice of Professor Akim Bouterra, complemented by what research says (wounds, burns, and scars), the precautions to know, and our resources to go further.

First, you'll need to do a colon detox. Then, a course of reishi mushroom will be beneficial: take three capsules a day, one before each meal, for three months.

You can also use spirulina, taken in tablet form, three before each meal for three months.

Finally, you can apply aloe vera cream with a few drops of black seed oil morning and evening.

What the science says: wounds, burns and scars

What published research says about the remedies mentioned above, for context — these studies concern material causes, while healing belongs to Allah.

Wounds, burns and scars

Honey speeds up the healing of burns according to a meta-analysis (N Z Med J, 2009) and of chronic wounds (Nutrients, 2024); aloe vera (Iran J Med Sci, 2019), propolis (Arch Dermatol Res, 2023) and rosehip oil (J Cosmet Dermatol, 2024) support skin repair. Precaution: an extensive or deep burn, a burn on the face, or a wound that is dirty or becoming infected call for emergency care; honey and oils should only be applied to a clean wound.
