To make labor easier, the woman may take dried figs combined with olive oil on an empty stomach. To do this, she will prepare in a container half a liter of olive oil along with half a kilogram of dried figs, and she will consume one tablespoon of it on an empty stomach every morning.

Two weeks before giving birth, she will drink three cups of chamomile. She may also eat ripe dates and should make sure to drink at least two liters of water a day.

Pregnancy

Ginger is the go-to natural remedy for pregnancy-related nausea (J Matern Fetal Neonatal Med, 2022) (J Am Board Fam Med, 2014); dates in late pregnancy help ease labor (Explore, 2021); iron and folic acid levels are monitored (Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand, 2023). Precaution: many plants are not recommended during pregnancy (essential oils, hormonal plants, purgatives, fenugreek) — do not take any supplement without your midwife's or doctor's advice.
